David Hewison / DreamstimeA spokesman for the Bernalillo County, New Mexico, sheriff’s office says a deputy who pointed a gun at a motorcyclist riding on a highway was “in fear of an immediate and impending battery” despite himself being in a moving patrol car. Video shows two motorcyclists doing wheelies when the patrol car approaches from behind. It does not have its emergency lights on. The deputy in the passenger’s seat points his gun out the window at one of the bikers.
