Jul.17 — Remo Ruffini first turned Moncler around when he bought it in 2003 by creating a luxury goods company from a sportswear maker using the tried and tested marketing tools of luxe fashion: top name designers and regular runways shows. Now he’s changing engine in mid flight, ditching the traditional model of luxury marketing in favor of a multitude of designers each creating a buzz over social media.
