Jul.19 — Investor preference for exchange-traded funds over actively managed funds is showing no signs of abating. Take emerging markets. In the rallies of 2016 and 2017, active funds lost out to ETFs in the battle for capital flows. And now, as markets decline, it’s the active funds that are seeing deeper outflows.
