Several homes in the city of Baltimore, Maryland have been leveled after a reportedly powerful gas explosion, killing one and injuring several other people. Meanwhile, Lebanon’s prime minister announced the resignation of his government, saying the devastation from last week’s port blast was the result of “endemic corruption.” This comes as protesters have stormed government buildings, demanding accountability. RT’s Paula Slier reports from Beirut. In Belarus, around 3,000 people were detained on election day after opposition supporters claimed the election had been rigged. Protesters have been beaten and journalists detained amid the re-election of President Alexander Lukashenko, who has been in power since 1994.
