Fortnite has taken the world by storm since its release by Epic Games in 2017. The Fortnite world is available in three different modes, but is most known for Fortnite Battle Royale, a mode that allows for 100 players at once. Two of Fortnite modes are free to play (Battle Royale & Creative), and have achieved widespread popularity with all ages and levels of gamers. The game utilizes V-Bucks; its own gaming currency used for in-app purchases, and to play the most recent mode of the game, Fortnite: Save The World.
Fortnite has partnered with notable musicians such as: Drake, Kim DotCom, Travis Scott and Marshmello to do in-game concerts. In 2019, Fornite made over 9 billion dollars further solidifying its cultural phenomenon status.
