Surya Mathialagan is a fourth-year PhD student in the MIT Theory group at CSAIL (Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory). She is advised by Vinod Vaikuntanathan and Virginia Vassilevska Williams. Her research spans combinatorics, graph algorithms, fine-grained complexity, and cryptography. Prior to MIT, she studied at Caltech, collaborating with Christopher Umans and Adam Sheffer. She has contributed to various publications and is actively engaged in cutting-edge research.
